Aria Clemente of the Philippines was declared overall grand champion in the junior category of the 11th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, California in August 2007.
The two young Filipinos beat delegates from over 40 countries to win the prestigious awards under the "Junior World Championships" (ages 15 and under).
Clemente was 11 years old when she emerged as overall grand champion of the World (Junior Division), beating other participants in various categories such as dance, acting and modeling acts.
She sang "Don't Rain On My Parade" from the musical Funny Girl that won her the Grand Champion Junior Vocalist of the World award.
